PetSums is a small, independent UK website of calculators for dog owners, breeders, smallholders, horse owners and outdoor hobbyists.Each tool answers one practical question, such as when puppies are due or how many litres a pond holds, and shows the sums and sources behind the answer.

Who checks the tools
Each tool page names the person who reviewed it. We are recruiting a registered vet or veterinary nurse for the dog tools and a farm vet or experienced farmer for the livestock tools. Until a reviewer is named on a page, treat it as unreviewed.

How the site is paid for
PetSums is free to use. We plan to pay for it with advertising and, where they're genuinely useful, affiliate links. Adverts never sit between a calculator and its result, and any affiliate link will be labelled next to the link itself.
What we don't do
We don't give veterinary, legal or financial advice. We don't store what you type into the calculators. We aren't connected to PDSA, the CAA, DEFRA or any other organisation we cite.
